MEMORIES GALORE AND MY NEW YEAR’S GOALS
Posted By drsao on February 14, 2010
My 2010 goals included a promise to do more SCRAPBOOKING (I am hopelessly BEHIND on my photo books) and so Friday night I spent 6 pm to midnight fulfilling part of my 2010 PROMISE at Memories Galore for a CROP AND SHOP. It was fun because Catherine was there too – always lots of giggles and inspiration when Catherine is around……she was working on some of the most precious fabric postcards that I have ever seen (and she wore cool socks too!) I worked on Grandangel’s Williams photo book. YEAH!
AND THE BEST PART – we didn’t get more snow – and don’t get me wrong, I LOVE snow, but it is time to move on……..and I don’t drive in the snow if I can help it. 🙂
AND…..I did take a COUPLE of pictures. I was pretty impressed with Catherine’s necklace – she made it from an antique gaming piece that John gave her…..and the dial really turns.
Look at these postcards that Catherine is making ….wonderful colors, paper, fabrics, trims, bling, just wondrous works of art to make you smile!
Look at these stamps – pretty impressive, wouldn’t you say!
I sort of wish I would have taken a picture of the room – so FULL of people and their tools and ribbons and projects…..it was CREATIVITY HAPPENING….but I really didn’t know any of the people there so I hated to be intrusive with my camera….but I did take a picture of Catherine and my feet having fun at the Crop! Well, our feet weren’t actually having fun – but it is a picture of US having fun and our feet are representative. WHY THIS PICTURE? Well, Catherine’s foot is in a brace and my big toe is broken – and this picture represents PERSERVERANCE……we were NOT going to let our feet keep us from having fun!
Aren’t these cute socks! LOVE THEM! They just make you happy!
