There was a no photograph rule at the AQS Quilt Show; however the AQS has shared this picture so I figured it was OK for me to share it. It is truly breathtaking and won BEST HAND WORKMANSHIP!
I am in a STATE OF TOTAL AWE – can you imagine the work that went into this. This is a WELL-DESERVED AWARD!!! Love it!
I SO needed oxygen when I first saw this work of art, blood, sweat and tears, at least that’s how I would feel after they let me out of the institution…….. It truly and simply took my breath away, it was such an honor to be in it’s presence……………… Inspirational, just inspirational……..
This masterpiece would have been one that I would have appreciated seeing in person. I will forever admire beautiful handwork and forever have no wish to make for myself.. Very worthy of all honors and could have definitely collected the “Awe” award. Thank you, Shirley for sharing this one. I have also voted at SewCalGal. Judy C
