FINISHED MY PINK MILKY WAY QUILT TOP
Posted By drsao on January 21, 2011
I know it looks like I have been really productive lately but this quilt and others that I have recently finished were started a year or two ago. I started PINK MILKY WAY TWO YEARS AGO and I finally got the top completed……it is all made from 2 1/2 inch and 4 1/2 inch strips of fabric and is a pattern that Augusta Cole gave us at one of her CUTTING BEE Extravaganzas!
By the way, Augusta Cole’s next CUTTING BEE is January 29th – can’t wait! She might have room for someone else – let me know and I will give you the information if you are interested.
Here is my PINK MILKY WAY! ( guess I really could have come up with a more creative title.) And I wish that I could say that this looked better in person .. but it really doesn’t…..:):) It looks a lot better using scrappy and multiple colors!
THIS IS MY #6 on my UFO CHALLENGE for Patchwork Times……YEAH – I am keeping up so far *but then it is only January!!! 🙂
Too sweet, soooooooooooooooooo pink, just adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I keep saying I’m not a pink person, but here I sit wearing a pink sweatshirt and oohing and aahing over your pink quilt. Maybe I am a pink person after all? I really like it.
I really like this. It is very pretty.
It’s such a pretty quilt for a little girl…and I really like the border you added.
Sista you are everywhere. Love the quilr
I think it is beautiful! Congratulations on getting it finished. Doesn’t it feel great?
