Barbara claims that she hasn’t been quilting long enough to have UFO’s – WOW…..NO UNFINISHED OBJECTS – so she has designed a NEW Challenge – a wish list for quilts that we want to START in 2013. YES…..an INTENTIONAL LIST of what we want to start.
I am going to play – even though I do have some REAL UFOs!
Here is my wish list – but I haven’t assigned them to a particular month……..just 2013 sometime. Here I go into the “ZONE OF PERMISSION.”
1. Bonnie Hunter’s QUILTMAKER MYSTERY – starting in the March/April issue (I think)….with a new clue in each issue.
2. 5 1/2″ paper pieced Green String Blocks – because Bonnie Hunter is making these and I am SURE they will turn up in some quilt pattern!
3. Scrappy Flying Geese – a free Christmas Gift pattern from Bonnie Hunter at Quiltville!
4. FABRICAHOLICS Christmas MYSTERY 2012 (no photo because it is a mystery!)
5. POCKETFULOFMYSTERIES New Year’s Eve MYSTERY 2012 (no photo because it is a mystery!)
6. Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville Mystery November, 2013 #1
7. Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville Mystery November, 2013 #2
8. Quilter’s Club of America Mystery #8 – 2013
9. FABRICAHOLICS MYSTERY Summer Mystery 2013 (no photo because it is a mystery!)
10. POCKETFULOFMYSTERIES Christmas MYSTERY 2013 (no photo because it is a mystery!)
Well, from looking at my list, it is quilt clear that I can’t resist a Bonnie Hunter Quilt or a good mystery quilt!
I guess I have cheered myself up enough for now. THANKS BARBARA….what a creative idea!
Great projects, Shirley. Glad you’ll be joining in.
You can’t go wrong with a BH quilt, so good for you. Sounds like you will have a fun 2013.
Lots of mystery to yout list. It will be fun to see all of these develop.
Yep, I’d say it’s pretty clear you love a good mystery :*D You should enjoy the year with all those lined up!
Everytime I think about setting up my projects for the new year (I was so looking forward to 2013 after a year of being sick) something else happens. I just got “my room” in order, feeling good about starting some projects after a year off, and I tripped over the dog last week and broke my left arm – There is talk about putting me in a bubble – LoL – So depressing and I am so out of sorts … guess I will follow everyone else’s progress again this year. You sure do like a mystery, Shirley – Merriest of all Christmases to you and yours and Catherine surrounded by friends and family. judy c
Don’t you just *love* Bonnie Hunter’s quilt? I have watched folks do her mysteries with a little envy, carefully saving the files so that some day when my lists are better under control, I can make one, too!
