The Tailgate Party for the Colonial Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild Meeting, Food for Thought, Yankee Candle, and The Whitford Estate, October, 2012
Posted By drsao on October 7, 2012
Catherine and I had the privilege of staying at the Whitford Estate the night before the meeting on Saturday. We had a wonderful dinner at FOOD FOR THOUGHT in Williamsburg. If you haven’t eaten there before, be sure to put this on your TO DO LIST. The food is excellent, the service is superb, the ambiance is relaxing and THOUGHT provoking, and the food presentation is without equal, in my humble opinion. THANKS CATHERINE for the wonderful dinner treat!
After dinner, Catherine and I went to the YANKEE CANDLE STORE to take in all of the glory of the holiday smells, sights, and sounds. I love this place…..and you will see why when you see the pictures! It is hard to leave this place without filling your CART multiple times!
I hope you enjoy the pictures of our dinner, our Yankee Candle excursion, and a glimpse at some of the sights and sounds (and furry people) at the Whitford Estate!
