The EATING Part of Quilt Camp 2012
Posted By drsao on February 21, 2012
I personally always enjoy the meals and the table decorations at Quilt Camp are fun too! THANKS EVERYONE!
It is really delightful to see the CULINARY CREATIVITY that goes hand in hand with the sewing creativity (one of us – ME – didn’t get the culinary part – but I enjoy what others do! Thank goodness, my cooking partner, Karen, is a great cook!)
We were all blown away by the BEACH CHICK meal and decor! Aren’t the little red beach chairs ever so cute! Those CHICKIE APRONS – and SOCKS are out of sight!!!! 🙂
I hope you enjoy our MEAL TIME PICTURES! I must tell you that the PICNIC ANTS were PLASTIC – but ever so realistic! If you are wondering about all of the RED PLASTIC BASKET PICTURES, I will explain! We had to think of a creative use for the basket that we got to keep! (As you can see, some of us were QUITE CREATIVE!)
The last picture is of a cute little fabric bag for candy that Christy taught us to make. Every meal or two, we got another clue as to what to do (and we all started out with one UGLY fat quarter – but we soon discovered that ONE PERSON’S UGLY was ANOTHER PERSON’S COOL!) Christy made the cute little bag pictured…..and she did NOT use ugly fabric.
AND….just for the record. If you were at QUILT CAMP and you don’t see your picture, it is because you TURNED OUT BLURRY! *sorry
Shirley,
Many thanks for sharing your pictures with us, it’s fun to relive all of our good times!
