UFO Challenge for 2012 – PATCHWORK TIMES FUN
Posted By drsao on December 20, 2011
It is that time again where quilters scrambled to LIST all of their projects that are in need of a grand finish.
Judy Laquidara – of Patchwork Times – is hosting a 2012 Challenge. It is so much fun and challenging. Every month she picks a number between one and twelve and that is the number of the quilt that you finish for the month! I love her challenge – and it really works because I met all of my 2011 UFO GOALS. Come join in the fun!
Here is my list!

(I only made ONE Carolina Crossroads back in 2008 – this was the first Bonnie Hunter Mystery – and started this second one later because I loved it so much. However, after this first mystery, when Bonnie hosts a mystery, I always make TWO AT ONCE because I know I will love it! It is also easier for me to get it done in the midst of the excitement rather than to go back and make the second one later. SEE – this is probably my FAVORITE of all of Bonnie’s quilts and I am still not finished. I have enlarged this one to become a bedcover!)

Wow – that’s quite a list! And I see you have a weakness for Bonnie H! I’m just discovering her through Orca Bay. I’love the Snowman Angel. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Good luck on your list this year!
Exactly what is it you are eating for breakfast? and I think you should also have your water tested !!! That is a very industrial size list, Shirley. For myself I was thinking 14, and thought that was mighty brave. I believe I will go take a nap – there is nothing a nap cannot cure. Judy C
Wow, what a lot of great projects! Very ambitious but what a pile of lovely finished quilts there will be at the end of the year. I listed 12 UFOs but there are about 25 more in the early stages of pattern and fabric gathering in my project boxes!
Oh this is a pretty big list with very pretty quilts. I think next time Bonnie Hunter has a mystery quilt, I’m going to have to do it. ( I just heard of her recently). Good luck with your list. I’ll be cheering you on!
I hope you have fun making Orca Bay! Welcome to the world of BONNIE! 🙂
That’s quite an ambitious list, but some beautiful projects. I love the Carolina Crossroads – I think that pattern is on my “someday” list, but every time I see it, I think it moves up the list! Good luck this year!
Those are the greatest quilts!!! YOu will have so much fun finishing them… and I will have fun watching them!!
Wow, very ambitious list. The snowman quilt and the grandmother quilt in particular are very beautiful quilts! Good luck!
Can you tell me how to log onto Judy’s list from my blogspot? I have no idea and only have a long list of symbols to help me when I try. There must be an easier way.
