Sixteen down – two hundred eight to go…….hourglass blocks that is! (Standard form you say – well 16 LOOKS LIKE so few and 208 LOOKS LIKE so many!)
This is my fabric Orca Bay 1 – Bonnie Hunter’s latest mystery (started November 18th so it isn’t too late for you to hop right over to QUILTVILLE and join in the fun! Here’s the link!

Here are my first 16 hourglass blocks…..we need 224. I think they are adorable……and the little block measures 2 1/2″ square!
I have all of my 448 pairs cut – so now back to the sewing machine to finish Clue 1 before Clue 2 comes out next Friday! I just LOVE Bonnie’s Mystery Quilts. You never know what it is going to look like in the end – but if it is a Bonnie Quilt, you know it will be WONDERFUL!
love that blue color!
I love your blue and white combination. Yes, it will be wonderful, and I’m also trying to finish before the next clue. I think we’ll both make it, I only have about 30 left to go and you are well on your way.
Great start. We all know a Bonnie mystery quilt will be worth the effort 🙂
They do look cute!
OMW you are brave. I saw you did the previous mystery by Bonnie and I’m not even done with ONE yet and here you go again! How on earth do you do this? When do you cook and clean?
Watching this space, can’t wait to see the end product.
