Main Street Houses…..
Main Street Houses – I finished all four blocks today – and after I had finished I realized that I had put a leaf at the top of the vines – and there should be a straight edge vine showing at the top. OH NO. I AM BUMMED. If it were for me, I wouldn’t care because OBVIOUSLY I liked it with the leaf at the top or I wouldn’t have IMAGINED that that was how it was supposed to me.
BUT….this is a block exchange – so I am at a loss for what to do…..I just cannot cannot cannot start over. Well, I COULD, but it would be distressing. LOL. :):) Any ideas?

and…..ta da…..tonight I finished the binding on my Old Virginia Road …..and that is probably my greatest accomplishment…..because binding is not my favorite thing. 🙂

No worries on the leaf addition baby, that just highlights the artist’s heart and that way, the receipient will always remember who created that lovely block and took the extra time and effort to make it extra special………………… LOVE it WITH the leaf,

I did try lifting but it was so GOOEY that I hurredly ironed it back down – probably now more PERMANENTLY THAN EVER! Catherine’s response made me feel better though – instead of a disaster leaf, it is now an extra special leaf….sigh……I just hope the other block recipients feel the same way about my creative faux pas!!
