SIT N STITCH AT QUILTER’S CORNER AND FLOWER INSPIRATION
Posted By drsao on September 19, 2008
The paparazzi was out there today and the Sept. 17th BIRTHDAY GIRL, Sheddy, made a surprise visit to SIT N STITCH – and ta da……here she is!
And then as if SIT N STITCH weren’t ENOUGH fun for the day, I had to stop and pick up some paint chips for our Country Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild Flower Quilt Challenge. Here is the way it works. We design a small quilt and the predominant colors have to be colors whose names start with our initials. So I have to choose colors that begin with S … A … and O.
WHO KNEW I WOULD HAVE SO MANY CHOICES (and I wonder what people thought of my STRANGE BEHAVIOR picking out paint chips seemingly at random!) Taking the photos was NO EASY TASK because my son-in-law either put his hand in the picture or moved the table just as I was about to snap the photo! ON PURPOSE OF COURSE….Sigh….:) 🙂
However will I choose my three colors?
Sesame, Strawberry Blush, Satin Rose, Stargaze, Shore Blue, Sebago Blue, Satin Doll, String Bean, Seven Lakes, Sea Galleon, Scottish Loch, Sequoia, Scottish Flower, Sunflower – and that represents just the Ss.
Let’s see for As I can have….Ancient Purple, Autumn Gold, Apple Red, Antique Lace, or Apple Blossom.
Then for the Os……Oats, or Olde English – and these are just the choices for the FIRST SET OF PAINT CHIPS!!!!
Too much fun…..and I got TWO MORE SETS….However will I choose!
Love your paint chips. Great seeing you today. Have fun antiqueing tomorrow.
