LAKE FOREST, CA QUILT SHOP
While in CA I visited a wonderful quilt shop…..in an unexpected location (industrial park) but with lots of nooks, crannies, and multiple work areas in a two-story maze of fantastic quilty wonders!
Every Day is a GOOD DAY to Quilt
I love the window and it is TRUE – every day is a GOOD DAY to quilt! 🙂
Fat Quarters in Baskets
At one point or other in my lifetime, I have been known as the BASKET LADY – and so it is no wonder that I am enthralled with these baskets of fat quarters located throughout the shop near its color coordinated fabric on crisp white inset shelving.
Fat Quarters Tied Up with Ribbons
And FQ bundles tied up with ribbons – well, this just screams out to me! The folks at Material Possessions really know how to grab my attention – I just HAD to visit the shop TWICE! 🙂
One of the Work Areas - Grandangel Shirley Anne is shopping!
The work areas are large and spacious – and I counted at least THREE designated work spaces. It just made me want to sit down and sew something. 🙂
It looks like these CA quilters are getting into the BAG MODE – just like we are in Virginia!
Every where you turn there is ANOTHER ROOM
I loved this sampler quilt displayed in the stairway between floors. The pictures is a bit of a weird angle – but is a wonderful quilt with dots of YO YOs here and there!

What a great way to display pillows
I just LOVE things like this antique white iron bed covered with quilted pillows and kits packaged in ever so tempting little boxes with ribbons.
All in all, I give this shop an A+ (sigh, once a teacher – always a teacher.) I know that I will be visiting this shop on my twice-yearly trips to California. If you are in Lake Forest, check it out for yourself. Everyone is so friendly and cheerful that each visit leave you FEELING GOOD!

I ran across your post while searching for quilted pillows. Oh, don’t you just love to have enough time to browse through an entire quilt shop. That one looks so good – here in Suffolk, Va where I live, our quilt shop is really small, nice helpful people, and work areas, but oh, to be able to spread out! Enjoy.
