Quilty Stuff – Roll Roll Cotton Boll x 2 – A Bonnie Hunter Mystery

In my spare time (when you are snowed in there is lots of time to sew) I have been having fun working on Bonnie Hunter’s Mystery Quilt ROLL ROLL COTTON BOWL and ROLL ROLL COTTON BOLL JR!)
FINALLY – today I finished 1200 half square triangles…..that is NOT a typing error….that is 600 x 2.
Here is ROLL ROLL COTTON BOLL – the picture that puts me into the 600 Club!!!

……….and ROLL ROLL COTTON BOLL JR put me into the DOUBLE 600 Half Square Triangle Club!

And……here is part of the next step…….I just can’t wait to see how these pieces are all going to fit together!!!! I think there are 688 little brown triangle pieces that I cut for this. Now I need to sew all of those 1200 Half Square Triangles into rows of five and then I will be ready for the next clue – FRIDAY.

Oh my goodness! That is a lot of work right there! I hope to get some sewing time to work on my mystery soon! And I won’t complain, since you have done double the work!
I’m amazed at the amount of work that goes into quilt-making. They’re proper heirlooms!
