It is time for DESIGN WALL show and tell. This is fun, isn’t it! I love to see what everyone is doing! You can too; just go to Judy Laquidara’s blog at Patchwork Times and you can see what quilters across the country are doing. Judy is making a wonderful Christmas package quilt….I love it!

THIS IS LIKE HAVING A VIRTUAL QUILT GUILD COMPLETE WITH VIRTUAL FRIENDSHIPS TOO!
Here is what I am doing! See this stack of fabric….that is my ORCA BAY 1 Mystery Quilt designed by Bonnie Hunter. The first clue (it came out Nov. 18) is to cut 448 pairs of 1 1/2″ pieces using a Companion Angle and then we make hourglass blocks. SO….onward I go! 🙂 My hourglass blocks will be blue and the light white/creams. The next clue comes out Friday…….BLACK FRIDAY…….:) You can play along if you go to www.quiltville.com and on Bonnie’s Blog you will find the Orca Bay Mystery link!
I have also started making some Christmas ornaments…..using FOLDED FABRIC SQUARES.
Love the ornaments, Shirley – I remember those. Still on the fence about starting Orca Bay – but following along for the fun of it. Love your colors and look forward to see the final surprise quilt. Judy C
Shirley,
I <3 Bonnies patterns but can't give up control enough to do a mystery! 🙂 Really like the ornaments too. I used to have the instructions for them years ago and made a ton as gifts before I was married. Lost the instructions and don't have any for myself! They are just lovely!
